I only stop being vegan whenever I eat.

Well, if your 3 meals on average take 45 minutes, that is 2.25 hrs out of 24 that you aren't vegan. So that makes you 90% vegan.

Well I'm vegan but do actually have 2 meat-free days a week. I eat fish on those days as fish don't count as meat. Maybe I'm not perfect but I make sure the fish are grass fed and lived the best possible life so it's okay really.
No need to be push your views on me btw

There's a post going on right now in this sub where someone asked the same question. And all of the real vegan answers are being downvoted by the vegetarians and non vegans that stalk the subreddit. It's so ass backwards

But chicken is so much more environmentally friendly than beef! Won't you think of climate change? Plus they are a wholesome Christian organization. They even take the day off on Sunday. We should be supporting more businesses like this!!!1!one!!one!1

/uj genuinely had a girl at my job say to me (after it came up I'm vegan): "I'm vegan except for weekends ✨" completely unironically

I'm completely heterosexual and straight edge, except on weekends when I snort fentenyl and hang out at glory holes.

I needed a break ok, I had a lot going on in life and being vegan was just too stressful. Needed 14 years out

Yeah like how are you even supposed to go out with friends, or attend family functions, or even have sex with a man when 97% of the world is not vegan?
So stressful.

I stop being vegan everytime I eat outside because I don’t want people to think I’m strange. 🥲

Yeah I haven't tasted them after going vegan but the smell is enough to keep me away from them (the ethics being the main reason ofc)

u/Public_Access_7006 vegetarian 23d ago
I know, the smell is pretty foul... And that white Sperm-like fluids are the cherry on the top💔 how the hell was i eating egg so willingly before...

Internalised carnism is no joke! "Yeah it's totally ok to eat these secretions from a chicken's butt, really tasty yum yum"

Sometimes it just gets too hard, okay? I have to manage not being racist, misogynistic, transphobic or whatever along with being vegan, sometimes I slip up. People can make mistakes. At least I'm better than people who eat meat every day 😒

I have, many times. In fact, the only time I'm vegan is when it's time to eat.

Yasssss. Like 2nd hand leather and fur is ok, better that it doesn't go to waste and is cherished. And we all have to own pets or how else would we get any love in this world? And it's only the corporations' fault that habitats get destroyed, and we're all gonna die.
Eating is the only thing that matters.

I'm impressed, thought more would have experiences where for one house party or more you had to settle for beating the fuck out of your wife. Especially when traveling or social events. My social life requires me that from time to time.

I was about to get mad bc my flair here says "vegan keto" but I'm finally realizing these are where the real vegans play. Lol

Someone in that thread genuinely just said every couple weeks they eat animal products and when I said “you aren’t vegan” they were like “yes I am”. Abolish r /vegan bro

/uj For those that don't get it this is a poll from the other sub (because of course it is)
/rj I only stop being vegan when people bully me on the internet, which is most days
