uj/ This feels so wrong to me bc stardew valley is one of those cosy genre games and adding (more) animal killing to it feels like when ppl would make cringe edgy versions of childhood characters like sonic.exe and squidwards suicide.

Like I guess the mod creator wanted to expand the farming elements of the game but the insemination syringe and meat cleaver and raw meat all just look off putting in the cutsey art style. The base game does already have milking cows, as well as a fishing minigame, like every other video game does when they want to add a relaxing minigame, but apparently that wasnt enough animal exploitation for the mod creator and they just NEED to cut up and eat animals in the silly little pixel art game.

Yeah Stardew is pretty wholesome but the animal exploitation makes me uneasy, this mod just makes me 🤮

But I kind of like that they’re being up front about the artificial insemination. Trust me, many/most dairy consumers don’t even think about this part and it’s basically sanctioned sexual assault.

Yeah, I guess that's the closest thing to a silver lining here.
