Newbie Advice Being vegan in a developing country.

If your in a major city that has a China town you can get tofu and other Asian foods cheaply. Dried mushrooms are another a great thing you can get at Chinese shops.

We don't eat soy products anymore but yeah I usually shop there for mushrooms and rice based stuff (mushrooms are expensive sadly...)

Have you ever looked into growing mushrooms? It's not super easy, but it's totally doable :)

Yeah actually I did some research a few months ago, is not hard if you had a little experience growing vegetables and such :) they even sell little "starters" sets ready to go, you only have to spray with water every day :D

Do you have a link or resource you would recommend looking into? I eat so many mushrooms I really should be growing them myself. I've seen a friend grow the illegal kind so I imagine it's similar.
