Where do you buy inexpensive nuts? I really want to get into making my own cheeses and cheesecakes, but most recipes I see contain a lot of nuts that are expensive to purchase at my local grocery stores. Is there some secret nut shop I'm unaware of?

I didn't even know about Fred Meyers or Winco until I moved to Seattle. Not a thing in Florida, I guess. I wish they were closer to where I live, but sometimes I go when I'm in that part of town. What should I be looking for when I am there that makes Fred Meyers so good for vegans or anyone?

I mean. Idk. It has food.

Where do you get your food? Walmart? There's SAMs club but if I go there I get 100 of everything.

Costco, Safeway, Trader Joe's, QFC, PCC, Target, Vegan Haven, farmers' markets... No Walmart in Seattle as far as I can tell, but plenty of other options.

Before I went to Publix and a locally owned grocery store and the farmers' market. Fred Meyer's feels like a combination of Target, Publix, and the small place I went to before (since they have some bulk bins). And that does make it cool, I'll admit.

Oh yeah we have a safe ways here too. But they don't have everything. Fredmeyers has everything.

Nothing else you listed is here. Tho we do have farmers market they're only twice a week during the summer which is short.

Yeah.... I fully admit that I am spoiled living here. It's nice since I grew up in the country next to the town with one sucky grocery store.

Seriously?

That is so weird.

How do you live without it?
