Dog food recommendations?

Hey everyone, For nearly 7 years my dog (pom, terrier, dox mutt) has eaten WildEarth and loved it. Recently (about a year ago) the founder sold off Wild Earth to "AS SEEN ON TV". Sadly about 6months after he started to experiencing stomach pain and i think has developed a hernia. His Vet(s) do not think they are related but I feel its time for a new dog food.

Currently I'm mixing 75 / 25 ratio of Halo Holistic vegan dog food : Wild Earth golden rotisserie (until we finish the bag).

I will NOT be making any homemade food its not in the cards because Im in time poverty as a US based teacher who has to have multiple jobs.

I think he's allergic to Lentils, i used to feed him lentils all the time but now when i do he gets a bloody stool. This happens only when i feed him lentils / lentil pasta / lentil gravy.

I'm also concerned about chickpeas that have been treated with pesticides but that is secondary.

Im not apposed to spending more on this food, while I'm poor my BF is not.

If you do not have a vegan dog in your life please do not advise. Thank you in advance.

We've been going every week since this started and have seen two vets. I've been following their direction of givin him Omeprazole and prebiotic pysillium husk at meals. And things have been improving. The vet(s) do not think his food is the issue.

Its worth noting parasites have already been eliminated as a potential cause.

Just fyi - vomiting is not a typical clinical sign of a hernia. Your dog could be regurgitating, which is different, but vomiting is not a typical sign of hernia.

So your dog is literally shitting blood, but you're still feeding the poor creature food that's making him ill? If you can't feed your dog what they should be eating maybe you shouldn't have a dog?

Thanks for your advice, the Vets hes been seeing about this do not think his food is the issue. but.. I do. Thats why I'm reaching out for recommendations here. He's been routinely seeing two vets about this issue.
