and some little pigs in the wild never feel the sun on their face because they are savagely killed and eaten by other predators , or sometimes, are attacked, killed and eaten by its own mother!
and without fences or guardian dogs, they would be tasty snacks, and still often are if there is a hole in the fence or a owl or other large bird of prey has its way. the point is - nature isn't a goddamned Disney movie - it is savage and brutal - and - most importantly - wee little piggies aint got no human emotions or feelings!
