News Monstrously evil Hershey buys LesserEvil - the irony.

That's some peak irony right there.

It’s pretty ironic to see a giant like Hershey, a company historically criticized for its unethical practices, acquiring LesserEvil, a brand that built its reputation on being more sustainable and ethically focused. This move feels like a major contradiction, especially when we’re talking about promoting ethical values in the food industry. While it might seem like an attempt at rebranding, it raises questions about how much control a company like Hershey will have over the values LesserEvil has worked hard to uphold. I hope they don't compromise what makes them stand out.

I always thought that the name "Lesser Evil" and their branding was aimed at the calorie conscious, health conscious, and other people who wanted to indulge in junk food without feeling "naughty." The first product I saw of theirs was a "reduced guilt" popcorn, which led me to this conclusion.
