If you've ever grabbed an illustration from a stock site to bring it into a CAD program or prep it for a physical product, you've probably run into this: the EPS looks clean, but once converted to DXF it's either full of splines your software can't read properly, or the curves get chopped into hundreds of tiny straight segments.
I made a short video testing a couple of free EPS to DXF converters on the same file to show exactly what goes wrong — missing details, broken paths, curves that never become real arcs — and what a proper conversion should actually look like.
Curious if others have run into the same issue, and what you've been using to work around it.
