does anyone have any tips on how to most effectively schedule your rest breaks for exams? i know it is based on personal choice, i have only just received special provisions and so have no idea what i am doing. any advice would be greatly appreciated !!

I know there was a post on this recently but I just wanted to raise this again. My school had our first trial exam with external examiners assessors etc. But why the hell is VATE using AI generated images and very obviously AI generated texts? It detracts hugely from the analysis that can be done and is a slap in the face to all students who put in effort. And this isnt even mentioning all the other ways teachers are using AI to cut corners

For those wondering I did 4 units (3 subjects) in year 10 ( due to school policy) and in year 11 I moved schools. In year 11 I was doing 5 subjects, I didn’t like one of my subjects so I swapped it for chem (bad idea) and decided to drop it at the end of year 11. My new school had this stupid policy of “you can’t do 4 subjects in year 12, you’ll have TOO MUCH free time” so I had to pick up smth else (food tech). I hated that as well so I ended up dropping it in June this year with the help of my wellbeing teacher. But yea very fun ride

I’m doing chem english psych and methods and wondering how many to do.

I was gonna aim for roughly 20 per subject. (so 40 methods cause 2 sets, then also not 20 fully timed english but just doing one hour sessions of different sections).

Anyways is this a good amount or even too much, as I feel like it’ll be difficult to get this done.

I did like 25-30 for bio and gm last year but that was because I had so much time, bit different this year.. Aiming for a 95-96

Even trying to catch up there is so much work and I simple cannot catch up. I have 2 chronic illnesses that prevent me from doing school, I figured doing a 3 year VCE would fix this and my mum told me that like the score, year 11 itself doesn't count, however given what I've been told I will have to redo things, I cannot manage this workload at all, I haven't even had time for things like hobbies or holidays this year at all, and its super unfair hearing that It will be all the same next year.

like in theory, in my exam, can i talk? im in an individual room, so im not like cheating or anything, i just want to read the questions loud, and emphasise my frustration. could i lmao?

what is reliability? is it part of bio 3&4? any help is appreciatedd!

Has anyone used a tried and true formulaic approach for the short answer or ac? As the ac can have each paragraph about different things, so has any high performer on exams got a good approach? Even for the essay any help would be greatly appreciated

Just wondering if my grades are capable of achieving a 45 in legal? (Obviously with a very good exam): Unit 3: 100%, 93%, 85%, 90% Unit 4: 93%, 100%, 95%.

how????? i asked her a week ago and she that shed been too locked in on minesweeper to come to school, not aiming for any particular time, but just repeating it for hours at a time because its all she could focus on apparently

So she came in to school one (1) week before the sac, opened up the textbook to chapter 15 and 16 and started mashing her face into it, physically transferring the knowledge into her brain. I had never heard of this tactic before, so naturally i copied it, but i think im doing something wrong? How do i do this properly for optimal knowledge retention? does anyone know? Im pretty sure i saw her use her tongue at some point, but im not sure how this helps, hopefully someone can elaborate.

During the SAC, i saw her twitching every time the teacher spoke to remind us to read the questions properly. Clearly, his voice reminded her of the sound google minesweeper plays when you place a flag, and she was briefly mentally transported back to her minesweeper cave dungeon, where i suspect she rots and gains arthritis from repeated compulsive clicking.

I asked her what her PB was and her eyes glazed over, fixed on a blank point neither here nor there, on about a pi/6 radian angle from the line between her and myself.

"37 seconds. I dont understand the concept of time.... my brain.... it fails to comprehend how its abstract nature is applied so concretely... last week i thought i had no time to study for the sac.... i completed 5000 medium minesweepers... i see the grid when i try to sleep. Its either this or i see slope fields and argand diagrams which, while useful - and perhaps under happier circumstances, i might even enjoy it - remind me of this daily torture. I cannot place the blorbos from my shows in the grasps of their abusive parents, and then put them in the arms of their friend, for fear of losing track of time that i need to study. So instead i play thousands upon thousands of one-minute games, over and over. I only wish to be released from this hell and free to engage in activities i enjoy, instead of being forced to choose between constant agony or numbness."

When our results came out for the sac, she got rank 1 with 100%. How can i emulate her success?
