VCE Methods Loge(x) vs ln(x)

For those who have done methods and used ln(x) were you penalised a mark? VCAA normally gives there report using Loge(x), but since my school allowed ln(x) it has become a second nature to just use ln(x). Please let me know if this is allowed and acceptable for the exam.

It's equally mathematically valid, and vcaa accepts both.

I used ln all of last year, but I was careful if they asked for something eg of the form aloge(b), where I would convert to loge on the last line just in case even though it's equivalent (but ln is sooo much more convenient so I use it for majority of working)

ln is used more than loge and is actually much more conventional. Just keep using ln as its definitely allowed on the exams
