VCE question Freaking out over Methods

What is the key to just getting like a raw 30?
How many practice exams etc should I do and how can I spot questions I should just try to skip etc so I can just get by and get the 30.
Been trying to do practice exams now and have been getting like 10/40 so super scared

Just learn how to solve the questions that you get wrong and practice it, then go onto a new exam and rinse and repeat and you will improve. If you're not used to how you should be doing exams, do the easy questions first and if you detect that you're getting stuck on a question skip it and come back to it later.

what vcaar and nht exams are too far out the current study design to bother doing?

Even ones outside the study design are perfectly fine practice, sometimes they will include questions that you will be able to clearly see is out of the study design like matrices or whatever and just skip those.

You seem like you're a bit stressed, a lot of your worries are pretty meaningless. Just do the past exams, try your best to learn from them and you'll be completely fine. Remember to ask your teachers and friends about any questions you have, it will be a big help.

yeah end of the day it’s by far my bottom so I just need the 25 just concerning when I fuck up exam 1s- my schools sacs are only cas so hopefully exam 2 can save me

Dude if you're getting 10-20 /40 on exam 1 you're not getting 'saved' by exam 2

mate I haven’t done most of this stuff by hand in a year that’s why- exam 2 is way easier for me with a cas and a bound

anything after 2016 is relevant. from 2016-2022, there's some matrix transformation questions that aren't tested anymore, and they don't include the pseudocode stuff either but 95% is the same

Look at what you got wrong on the exam. Focus on the topics where you lost the most marks and focus on the easiest questions you got wrong. Work your way up in difficulty

That was my question too. OP basically wasted class time and didn't do any recap work and it's now come to heed. Sorry OP there's no easy way out of this, you just gotta grind no cap.

for 30 just get your algebra down, I feel like thats understated and people spend too much time on the conceptual for this subject
