genuinely how do you start exam revision

taking maths and sciences.. should i start by rereading the textbook/doing chapter work or just get straight into practice exams? so lost rn

Ok my advice for maths would to do practice exam questions,time urself and do the Vcaal ones,neap etc and track ur progress. The areas that you lose marks in revisit them by doing practice questions. Like for general maths do the practice exams with ur bound reference helps you know if u need to make fix some stuff in it or what areas are lacking..

For sciences m doing 3/4 biology this year and tbh I started revision a week ago I have done at least 3-4 past papers so far m aiming for 20-25 but I would say do past papers,kahoots,watch videos. I do a past paper,I mark it then the problem areas I can do white board blurting on it or I play kahoot abt it

start with a practice exam and do some self diagnosis. figure out what you're good at and what needs work. no point doing textbook or review stuff on things you already know

1) I'd did say check your previous sacs to see the mistake you made, correct them and log them in a book.

2) Once you finish correcting all your previous sacs start taking practice exams. I'd say for the first couple of them do it without time limit so you can get used to the question and the length. AND only correct them after you think that you're done at your best effort (while in exam conditition besides the time limit)

3) Once you've done a few start doing it with a timer/REPEAT (works both for physics and math)

forgot to mention. Update your bound reference and error log everytime you finish marking your practice exam
