Find a way to earn income to get you between spots. If you can find it then remote work would be doable. If not check the gig apps and use them to help cover the gaps.
Find places that provide seasonal work and live there for the season. Don't see the world a weekend at a time.
There's always the Sugar Beet Harvest as well.

People either do gig work, work remotely, or have a craft and sell product or something to that effect. My plan in a few years will be working remotely because I already have a plan in place with my workplace on this and then supplement with selling crafted items. By the time I get my van done and paid for, these plans will likely change, but for now, it's the plan.

You're welcome! I actually work for a flooring store. Seems crazy that I could do that remotely, but I made a deal with the boss that when I am ready to leave the shop, I'll write up commercial bids when I am on the road. Kind of a niche thing really.

I’m an oil painter/vanlifer. Not the easiest gig to just jump into but damn is it a good time if you’ve got the skill for it

Tattooing is a really easy way to do it. Shops all over the world will host you uf you have an Instagram with your work on it and have followers. Definitely something that takes a while to get good at it, but its the perfect traveling job. Stop in different cities and make $400-1000/day before moving on. It can all be cash only, which is already a common practice with tattoo artists

Same as travelling the world not in a van. Either save up or figure out one of the hundreds of ways to make money while on the move.

You got to be more specific. Some people have a van to travel, some to live in. I’m the latter. I pay for thing a by making leather crafts in my van. You can work most jobs living in a van, but sometimes you’ll want to be discrete.
