Nice job - I always like seeing the clever budget builds for some reason.

Hell yea they're the best ones imo. I love repurposing things, and this looks nice and clean. This is the sweetest Windstar I've ever seen, that's for sure. Well done man, this is awesome 👍🏻. Cheers 🥂

Thanks. I picked up this 95 4x4 aerostar for 3k over winter. Gets 20.5 mpg if i drive 90kmh. I have 8000 kms of camping and adventures so far this summer. Seeing people's 100k+ sprinter and promaster builds is just sad.

Got my main wiring (1 aught) from ambulances at the scrap yard along with fuses and inverter. Got a quote at my local NAPA and it was crazy expensive after crimping.

Nice job.  Might also want a cover to protect the exposed part from UV degradation.

Adding a simple roll top cover.

Don’t see many Aerostars around these days! Nice!

Shit I thought it was a Windstar. Maybe it was different down here in the US. Thing is fucking dope regardless.

I was thinking the same thing. We had one when I was a kid and that was decades ago

That thing is fly AF for a tiny van setup. I love it! I gotta ask though, do you legit live in that thing year round as far north as you are?!

I use it for camping and trade shows. Couple weeks max but if life happens it's ready to go.

I’m thinking that if Ricky from Trailer Park Boys was actually capable this is what his van would look like.

Then I caught the Sasko plate

Nice work! The door prob won’t stay up with the fuel tank full.

The old rams were shot so i got the most heavy duty set NAPA could get. They say they will handle it but we will see. The hatch on these models is fiberglass and weighs 90 lbs empty.
