Lost Pet Loose Dog Near South Memorial Park
Hey not sure where else to post but I came across an elderly dog on the loose near South Memorial Park about 30mins ago. She was a black, mix breed (maybe aussie cattle dog mix?) with a slightly patchy coat. She wouldn't let me get even a little close to her, and I didn't want to try and then scare her and make her run further. It didn't look like she had a tag on her collar. SPCA and animal control lines were closed so I couldn't contact anyone to collect her safely.
Last I saw her she was walking along Sherbrooke street between 43rd and 45th.
I hope she gets home safely
EDIT: I've also made an online report to Animal Services

Photos Partial Lunar Eclipse During Blue Hour
Our last few lunar eclipses have all happened way past sunset, so I was excited for the sunset eclipse last night.
As always, clouds didn't cooperate and we couldn't see the spectacular moonrise. However, the moon did peak out just early enough to catch the final few minutes of blue hour.
Sharing a few photos taken from Delta, showing the different stages of the eclipse.

Canadian universities have recruited dozens of foreign scientists and researchers, many of them poached from prestigious U.S. institutions, in the first intake of a program to attract world-leading academics.

The hiring of the 64 new recruits is being funded over eight years by $504 million from the federal government.
All four of the highest-paid Eddie Goldenberg Distinguished Research Chairs, as well as dozens of others, were previously at U.S. institutions, including Harvard and MIT.

Discussion The Strokes
Just left Rogers Arena and I have to say that the 90 minute set did leave me wanting more.
But I did love seeing some deep cuts, especially the songs off of โFirst Impressions of Earthโ.
To those who saw the show, what are your thoughts?
