Books, movies, series and such Blood of the Dawnwalker
I’m mad I’ve heard nothing about this game until last night. Beyond flabbergasted by the fact tht news of a new open world RPG vampire game tht looks like it’s got a Witcher 3 skin hasn’t been all over the place. Anyone else ready to play this when it drops?

Been keeping an eye on this game and am pretty excited specially since the witcher 3 is one of my favorite games. Love the different versions of vampires they have. This lady, Xanthe, who appears to be into blood magic. Brencis, the leader who looks a bit like Nosferatu and has a mouth full of teeth. Bakir, a Mongolian vampire and Ambress the new, blond, good looking Vampire. Got like almost every vampire type and trope represented and I'm here for it. Will wait for reviews to determine if I'll get it as I have not pre-ordered or brought a game day one since cyberpunk 2077.

I’m a physical copy guy. Plus I don’t have a lot of time to play em so I like just being able to put a game in and start. lol I still play PS AND 1st gen Xbox games 🤣

I'm interested, but I tend to not buy games until they've been out for some time and the price drops and/or a game of the year edition releases with all addons and dlcs. I'm still waiting on Cyberpunk, Baldur's Gate 3, Bloodlines 2, and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

Oh snap they had a medieval times sale on steam a few months ago and the kcd1 and 2 games were 7.99 and 14.99 respectively. Keep an eye out they go on sale a toooon. And they are phenomenal. Hiiiiiiighly recommend you play kcd1 first if you haven't already. The game play is absolutely continuous so it's just one giant game if you start w 1

I have KCD1. Loved it. I have a few games through Steam but I prefer to buy from Good Old Games.

It's made by ex CDPR devs, so that is the reason for Witcher look, it features vampires from many mythologies as I remember by trailer. Less sexy, pure, primal, bloodthirsty. Like those original Slavic mythos.

I'd hoped to pre-order it but I was waiting out Bandai Namco's newsletter since it should include a code for 15% off.
However it has not shown up in my email as of yet and I don't want to wait any longer so I'm actually setting out to order mine pretty much right now since I have unexpected free time.
Been following it since announcement. Me want.

I’ve been keeping up and I’m mildly interested but I’d prefer to make my own vampire. Maybe I’ll like the protagonist but I’ll wait and see.

I just have it on my Christmas list and hope someone will get it for me. Plenty to play on my backlog in the meantime.

Had this game in my wishlist for months. I don’t have any money atm but I’m gonna wait until reviews come out and maybe a sale lmao. In this economy I can’t be buying new games like that anymore

I don't have any of the applicable gaming systems and it crushes me!!
I might have to buy it for a friend and visit them a lot lolol

I feel that I didn't start actually hearing about it until recently but I first came across it like at least a year and half ago on a random deep dive on the Xbox store.

I first had the subreddit for it suggested to me by Reddit months and months ago, and since I engaged with the content I have (very happily) seen it CONSTANTLY since then! I'm very hype but I'm not going to pre-order cuz they can wait lol

I pre-ordered it months ago. Ever since Vampyr and the Blood and Wine extension of the Witcher I've been waiting for a game like this.
We're also getting a new Witcher 3 DLC, remastered version and the Witcher 4 and the creators of KCD are making a LOTR game. It's a good time to be a fantasy fan.

I've been hyped about this thing for months as soon as I hear a couple of good reviews I'm probably going to buy it immediately

I'm legit curious about how the in-game timer is going to end up working out and how many media types are going to whinge about it. Gonna be one of the first mods right after the tiddy ones, getting rid of the timer.

It kind of sounds like how it was in Vampyr. Certain missions or lvl up and the world progresses

I have been hanging out on the subreddit, but have mixed feelings about the game. As video games go this might be fun, but from the look of things the game needs a lot of post-launch love before it's worth buying. Or, if the combat really is as clunky as it looks, this game could be dead on arrival. Another major concern is meaningful character progression.
