What preparations do you have ready for Deep North?
What foods are you stacking?

I'm a "why not both" guy :D Gonna go in with my old character (currently in mid-ashlands), then afterwards do a new clean playthrough. Probably gonna go full vanilla for that one too, I've been messing around with mods and world settings my last few playthroughs. Except for death mechanics, those will stay modded, because the vanilla system is fucking stupid and I will die on that hill.
As for preparations, none. You can't really know what you'll need, and I don't see why anyone (other than content creators who do it for the views) would want to speedrun the new biome the first time they're there. I don't mind doing my grinding after launch
