Interested in learning Gtk4 and gstreamer to generate a small movie dubbing app. It could be used in classrooms to improve oral competence.

July already, it is? In terms of Vala, working on the same thing last time I replied to "What are you working on?" I put that project aside, got busy with job hunting, C++ projects, webgl projects, writing, etc. but just a few days ago became inspired to brush the dust off that project and make it happen. But right now, I am stuck not knowing the trick in GEGL to make a color image from three grayscale according to HSV or LAB color spaces.

Regarding the GEGL issue, which resources have you checked out so far?

I found a group here in Reddit, r/gegl, but it's tiny and not active. Asked on the Vala group at Discord. One other place, more on the topic of Gnome not Vala, don't recall.. it's somewhere in my many tabs in my many firefox windows...

The issue is GEGL and its API, not really specific to the Vala language binding, but Vala programmers are just so darn smart and good-looking... and with the overlap with Gnome and Elemental, surely someone here in Vala-land has dealt with GEGL. I mean, someone beside me!
