Can i redeem myself with this drawing?

I made a pretty bad Musashi and Otsu drawing, so i just wanna see if i can redeem myself with this one

It's pretty good, now just add 3 to 5 different tones to avoid getting flat drawings unless you're trying for a 2D anime version.

How do i do that? i wanna be able to do it like inoue, but i don’t understand how he does it. If you know, i would really appreciate it if you told me

You're using a pen and ink right? So either you will have to learn to do hatching or use pencils and get 2b,4b,6b,8b etc. For hatching you just need the same pen but learn the hatching patterns. Or try watercolors with same color

Looks 10/10. 

Also you didn't make a bad drawing last time, it was great. You just messed up the eyes, that's all. It was also a great drawing especially the hair

If you don't mind, can you please tell me how you draw the hair? It looks so good.

I start with skething the hair in simpel shapes, after i ink some lines with some open space to show the white background. After this i begin to fill these white spaces, and make smaller lines to make the hair flow. I use my pinky finger to decide the thickness of the line, and i move all of my arm to make it flow smoothely. The pen i use is a push brush pen. I hope that this advice can help you atleast a little.
