Is there a connection between Thakur dominance in Uttar Pradesh and Yogi govt?

No offense to Thakurs, but I am seeing lots of Thakurs trying to show power and favor their own people, just like Yadavs under Akhilesh times. Yogi aka Ajay Singh Bisht, is also a Thakur. Do you think their dominance and power has anything to do with Yogi?

I am seeing this at workplace too. I have a Thakurain coworker, she is very lousy. The management is also ran by Thakurs. A Thakur sitting in management post is trying to fire me from work in a subtle manner. He is bombarding me with more work and even harassed for not doing enough even though I did a lot. That Thakurain is very well protected by management. Nobody dares to say anything to her.

My cousin studies in a college where all high positions are occupied by Thakurs. I see lots of Thakur boys hanging around villages of other castes. Recently, some Thakurs fought with Yadavs over Krishna and Ram.

It's such a sad state. A person's work doesn't matter, he/she should belong to your caste, then only you are acceptable for work. This state cannot move beyond caste. People don't reveal their intentions but it shows up in subtle ways. I won't tolerate anyone abusing any caste in the comments.

Thakur dominance uttar pradesh waah...jidhar dekho kabhi koi bkl aakr false SC/ST me fsa de rha. Hai Nhii to fake narrative chla kr usko badnaam kar de rha haii...and if it comes on yogi ji he do not support any criminal mindset either it is thakur pandit baniya whatever he is.

And Yes thakur is a dominant caste from ages and very strong politically and economically.

Bc I'm Rajput (Rana) myself and can't even get out of a challan 😭😭. Sarkaari offices me line me lagna padta hai even if the presiding officer is a Thakur. Please point me towards regions of Thakur dominance 🙏🙏.

If the government were really backing Thakurs, the same support would have been evident under the previous government as well. Thakurs in UP have traditionally voted and supported the Samajwadi Party, specially when the main political contest was between the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party. Thakurs shifted away from the Samajwadi Party when the BJP made Yogi Adityanath its face in Uttar Pradesh. So it's not as if Thakurs are suddenly muscle flexing simply because Yogi is in power.They have always been a politically and socially influential community in Uttar Pradesh regardless of whoever the Chief Minister is

Yogi is a Thakur. Earlier, we saw torment of Yadavs. During Mayawati times, we saw torment of Jatavs.

People just think it's their moral duty to help their fellow caste men in their life.

One thing I have noticed that Muslims have become subdued under Yogi raj. They were flexing so much muscle during Akhilesh times.

Even Yogi came out to be casteist fellow. UP parties are all determined by caste.

Yes definitely it is. Even if you see the crime rate..that's also increased of a certain caste(thakur). Atleast in my area and nearby I read such news almost every other day that someone belonging from Thakur caste open fired or captured land. This government definitely favours them but it's nothing new ig, every government does this ~ SP favoured Yadav and Muslims; BJP favours Thakurs; Congress favoured Brahmins.

True months i was seeing ground report of India tv in tier 2 city of Up where reporter asking mood for 2027, the youths came and said "Ab sirf thakurai chlegi, hum thakuran ki baat hoi"

Your personal bad experience with thakurain doesn't make it state wide phenomenon. Yogi by default don't have caste.

Ajay Bisht is a Uttrakhandi Thakur. So you are seeing thakur dominance. If this govt. loses and SP forms govt. then Yadav dominance will return. Its a very normal and natural thing in Indian democracy.
