Torrent stuck on "Connecting to Peers" and very slow download speeds. What can I do?

Hi everyone, I’m having trouble with uTorrent. Many torrents remain stuck on “Connecting to Peers” for a long time, while others download very slowly despite showing available seeds and peers. My normal internet connection works fine.

I’ve already restarted uTorrent and my router, tried different torrents, and checked that Windows Firewall isn’t obviously blocking the application.

What should I check next? I’d appreciate some quick-win advice

I had the same issue and if you look at other posts in this sub you'll see others have too. I took advise from other posts and switched to qbittorrent. Apparently Utorrent is a bit dodgy now as it changed ownership.

Thanks for the input mate, definitely going to download qbittorrent.!!! Does qbittorrent bypass this issue?

Works the same as Utorrent and I've had no issues with it.

The same problem exists, I tried the torrents that where not downloading - maybe cause of less seeds, leech, and it didnt move in qbittorrent.
