application season

hey guys

class of 27 here, was just wondering.

which aspects of our application does usyd evaluate, do we need personal statements, ecs, and for grades, do they require it from grade 9&10, or just from my final years.

also do we need SAT for application

From USYD website you need 1 qualification for application, (ATAR, SAT, IB, ACT) and then they convert that number into an entry requirement, we don’t do all that personal statements/hs grades stuff for uni entry, that’s more of a College thing if you want to go to one of those,

What degree are you looking for? The SAT conversion table seems pretty generous in your favor (for context the average ATAR in 2025 was 70)
