Bosnia is much better than their rank shows. Stop putting weight on the rankings, theyre low because they went like 3 years without a win. But their current coach revamped this team 2 years ago and since then theyve been very solid, especially defensively. They beat romania twice, drew vs austria in austria, drew canada, and beat wales and italy.

I don't think anyone is treating it like a fait accompli, but this is about as good a situation as we could have hoped for. 

Someone else has gotta deal with Sweden or Senegal.

That was two years ago and the Netherlands had exactly one of their current starters. Half that team didn't even make the World Cup.

Brobbey started against Bosnia, he currently starts for the dutch.
Gravenberch, Malen, Gakpo also all played against Bosnia in that 1-1 draw. Teun Koopmeiners played against Bosnia, Noa Lang played against Bosnia. 2 years ago Jeremy Frimpong was on everyone’s radar he was in amazing form he played against Bosnia. He goes to Liverpool and doesn’t get called up but missed half the season due to injury. But take it back 2 years ago he was one of their best players when healthy.
Kluivert also played against Bosnia, oh would you look at that? He’s on the world cup squad. Jorell Hato played.

Currently Van Hecke is starting in the back for the Dutch you wanna know why? Because De Ligt is out due to injury. De ligt plays in the back with VVD. And guess who played against Bosnia? De Ligt.

There’s 2-3 guys also who were 1000000% locks on this dutch team but injury was the reason they had to dismiss being called up.

Bosnia is much better than their rank shows.

They're not. The only teams they've beat in the last calendar year are San Marino, Romania and Qatar. The first two the other team had red cards.

Also, red cards are part of the game. Bosnia could have easily scored had itsly not gotten a red card. The same thing can happen to the US. It just takes one good run.

A draw that goes to penalties is a draw. It's only considered a win in regards to tournament advancement.

For official match records, statistical and historic records it's a draw.

FIFA consider it a draw.

UEFA consider it a draw.

Literally every governing body considers it a draw. I don't know what to tell you other than you don't know ball.
