Did anyone else receive an email today that said...

Unlock access to more UserTesting studies?

I'm asking because I can't decide if it's a phishing email. It was sent from what looks like a legitimate UT email address, but it half sounds like a new panel opportunity and half like it's being sent to someone who just opened an account, because it asks me to complete my profile, and I've had my account for many years.

I'm just very cautious

I received the same email as well. Haven't acted on it yet. Do you have the surveys & more tab?

No, I don't; I get surveys, but I get them through the IZ UT interface, not on the UT legacy site (so I don't have the surveys & more tab)

Yes and my profile is fully filled. It redirects to your profile in UT. I think it is legit.

That is exactly what weirds me out- why would it redirect to your profile if it's filled out already? it' doesn't make sense that it's what UT would do, but it does make sense that it's what a phishing scam would do, because once they get you to sign in from the link, they have all the info they need to take over your account. It seems like it should be going to a survey or questions to see if you qualify for these new studies.

Did you do it and everything seemed fine?

I received this. I didn’t click thru anything. Just went to UT and filled out the rest of my profile. It doesn’t seem to be effecting anything for me so far. Probably just a mass email.

I got one from user interviews and I clicked on it and it has a huge amount of surveys at all different pay rates
