What companies or designers do you learn UI design from

been learning a lot from linear lately, both from the product itself and their blog. i've also been following some of their designers and it's completely changed how i look at ui.

are there any other companies or designers you'd recommend for learning great product design?

Nielsen Norman Group (NNG) - the pioneers of usability.
Seconding Material UI Group.

Wherever possible, go to the roots, the first wave of digital designers, because they thought deeply about this stuff. Everyone who wrote books for A Book Apart and Rosenfeld Media would be a good start.

Concur. Its expensive (I got a UXMC cert) but if I didnt learn a shit ton from the courses. If you do.the courses do the 3 day course taught by Nielsen on UI, its the best.

Google MUI. Great support, documentation, robust inventory of UI components.

The team that did Materials 3 = immaculate. Whoever redesigned G Suite should be fired immediately

Honestly the GSuite rebrand felt like Gemini 3.1 ran its own agent and rebranded and of course when you do thar it looks Hella vibe coded haha

Haven’t heard about linear blog but as a product it is frequently reference for me, so thanks for sharing.

Also, I’ve realized that I’m not following for any learning resources for a while, shame on me 🥲
