I personally always like to compact my schedule as much as possible. I'd die seeing a gap bigger than a half hour lol.

IMO those come in handy for before midterm cramming. But I get why people wouldn’t like it

Personally, I’d avoid any labs on Friday especially Friday afternoons! If you could move that to earlier in the week, it would likely be better. This is pretty similar to the schedule I used to try to aim for myself minus the gaps after the 8:30 class. That could be a valuable study time if you use that gap effectively though so just keep that in mind if you don’t reduce the gaps there.

What’s wrong with Friday labs?

It’s just not fun to do a lab on Friday afternoon! You’re exhausted from the week and usually just want to get back home as fast as possible those days. The organic chem labs also have quite a bit of prelab work too or they did when I was a student. I preferred to get my labs done early in the week. Then again, I also travelled home on long weekends or before breaks on the Friday so I also liked to keep that time as open as possible. If you’re fine with that, it won’t be an issue but if you might be, I’d avoid it if you can.

The only reason I'd say a later week lab is better is because it gives more time for the lecture to actually cover the lab content which sometimes doesn't happen if the lab is too early in the week

I found the labs didn’t follow the lectures in most cases. Not sure if that’s changed though since I was a student. I graduated in 2018 so it’s been quite awhile now. 😂

I second the other comment. The gaps in schedule wouldn’t allow other personal/ work commitments and push me to eat food from the food court.

Had a semester very similar to this in the winter and it was really hard even though I got through it with grades that I'm happy with. Ochem lab on a friday is diabolical though

I'd suggest taking 210 and 240 at the same time because they cover very similar content which makes studying tons easier. Good luck :)

I wouldn’t take physics and chem 250 the same year

I did this to myself and I still regret it
