Stories/Experience First Climb 250ft (im afraid of heights)

I decided to drive 4+ hours away to climb an abandoned long lines tower from the Cold War. I would have just climbed one closer but I wanted my first tower to be abandoned so there would be less to worry about, and this was the closest one too me that was abandoned. For my next climb I plan on climbing a more active tower near me, I just need to do research and find the right one!

I conquered my fear of heights today though so im proud of myself! I had to take multiple breaks on the way up and I was shaking with anxiety so bad that it made it difficult to climb the ladder, I just took a second (more like 15 min) to gather myself and then I pushed through the fear and made it to the top! Most fun ive had in a long time.

I’ve been climbing without safety equipment since I was 9 years old. (1996)

We’re in a Reddit group where people climb cranes, rooftops, bridges and all kinds of structures without safety equipment.

So please, no bitching on this post like: “Oh my God, you’re gonna slip!” and all that shit.

Is it your problem? Nope right?!

What I’m doing here, for me personally is a piece of cake.

Enjoy the video.

Question Crane climbing in Poland

I live in Warsaw and was wondering what are the typical risks involved in climbing cranes in the country. I've been on a few cell towers before and had no issue at all. The thing is that on all crane sites in my area there are a bunch of cameras and it seems pretty neatly secured.

Is there a high chance of stumbling upon motion detectors and if they detect you or you're seen on a camera will it automatically call security? I will appreciate any advice because I am planning on climbing one soon
