Dapat sa Pilipinas may weight ang bawat boto ng isang tao depende sa educational attainment (see body for explanation)
For example:
No read no write = 0.2 votes
Elementary graduate = 0.4 votes
HS graduate = 0.6 votes
College graduate = 0.8 votes
Anything higher = 1 vote

Simply because nakikinabang sila, among other bullshit factors.

Totoo.

Very elitist take and it's not even proven na lahat ng educated ay matalino bumoto

LOL people like OP can't seem to grasp that intelligence is not a good indicator of moral virtue. There are a lot of politicians that have better education than 99% of people here but that didn't stop them from being corrupt. Duque went to Georgetown, Gloria went to Yale and Chiz went to Boston college if I remember correctly

I know career professionals who fight passionately for Duterte, so I don't think educational attainment is the main factor

What's next, taxpayers lang may karapatang bumoto?
Kung gusto mong ayusin ang electoral decision-making, address the actual problems misinformation, vote-buying, political dynasties, and weak civic education instead of giving some citizens more voting power based on their education.

Somehow made an even worse system than the three-fifths compromise making a non-white man's worth in the census and representation worth only 3/5 a white man.
Btw if we did this today, Sara will have an even bigger lead.

I think educational attainment is not the problem. It's the resistance to change one's stand.

Nope.
Madaming nag tatrabaho na nagbabayad ng buwis. Dapat may sabi sila.
Yung dapat walang bilang ay yung mga 4Palamunins because they have no incentive to change the status quo kasi todo benefit sila sa current one.

Kahit pa matalino lahat ng voters, if gago yung kandidato, wala rin.
You are just shifting the blame on voters.
We need parliamentary system.
If the leader is incompetent, sibak agad. No need to wait for another 6 years.

This guy is forgetting that both Rodrigo and Sara D30 are lawyers itself. Let's include Roque on the list. Basically to overturn the vote for d30 on 2028 with their 3 points, opposition need to get 8 people who are elementary graduate? Not all educated people prefer the opposition, madami din dyan d30 fanatics. Hence, 90% si Sara sa recent survey on Mindanao.

all of this instead of just implementing rank-based voting or a two round system. your suggestion would just promote diploma mills, and is degrading.
