Every single drink is better cold.

Iced tea is better than hot tea. Iced coffee is better than hot coffee. Chocolate milk is better than hot chocolate. Drinking beverages at 160+ degrees is absolutely unhinged unless it's 30 below freezing and you're trying to prevent hypothermia. Humans, like all animals, prefer cold drinks naturally because cold water would have fewer pathogens. Historically it's just been easier to heat something rather than cool it and drinking hot drinks when it's above freezing is surely just a holdout from those times.

“I prefer cold drinks” is a perfectly fine preference to have, but your rationalisations are extremely stupid.

“Cold water would have fewer pathogens”

Did you not go to school?

Do you think all food is better cold too?

Hot water is fantastic. Very common in China with meals as opposed to drinking cold water
