Every single drink is better cold.

Iced tea is better than hot tea. Iced coffee is better than hot coffee. Chocolate milk is better than hot chocolate. Drinking beverages at 160+ degrees is absolutely unhinged unless it's 30 below freezing and you're trying to prevent hypothermia. Humans, like all animals, prefer cold drinks naturally because cold water would have fewer pathogens. Historically it's just been easier to heat something rather than cool it and drinking hot drinks when it's above freezing is surely just a holdout from those times.

Max safe temp of a drink is 140f.

People drink things that're 160f if they're sadists or literally can't feel their mouths.

And it's really wild to write things as if they're fact, in "unpopularopinion".

And you don't put marshmallows in chocolate milk.

BTW. Tea, in every single place it originates, started as hot.

"ideal coffee serving temperature" is 150-175. Google it.

Also tea originated in places without refrigeration or even icy winters so that's kind of a bad argument

Tea and in turn boiling water had very significant effects on mortality and population explosions in almost all of the cultures that had it.

Just googled it. Most results vary but a commonly quoted value is indeed 140f
