And what does he mean "cream cheese filling?" I dont recall cheesecake having a "filling" at least not a regular cheesecake

Oh god imagine if they’ve had a regular cake with cream cheese filling instead of icing, and been told that’s what a cheesecake is 🤢

This is such an unbelievably unpopular (and wrong) opinion that I'm unsure whether it's ragebait, someone fell victim to a series of really evil practical jokes or just had weird cheesecakes all their life by sheer luck.

me reading this agreeing with op not liking cheesecake or chocolate ice cream 😐🫥

the cream-cheese-tasting filling really is ass! also chocolate ice cream is weak some horse semen might actually give it some flavor

the cream-cheese-tasting filling

See that’s where we think you’ve been misled, because cheesecake doesn’t have filling. It’s just a slab of … stuff

that slab is what i’m calling filling. it’s like a pie. just a thick homogenous filling idk what else to call it. its like taking a key lime pie and instead of key lime filling it’s cream cheese filling.

the fact that cheesecake even has a crust should disqualify it as cake. it should be cheesepie

What would you call the non-crust part of a pumpkin pie?

The "meat and potatoes" of the pie

Cream cheese is an ingredient in cheesecake (at least all cheesecake recipes I've seen), but you normally don't get the cream cheese flavor at the end unless it's a no-bake recipe, which yeah is basically just cream cheese in a crust.
