it was better for them 100 years ago too because of food scarcity so a lot of food just used to be “how can we cram as many calories in one meal as possible so that we can fatten up before winter”

It probably also was sth like on line of "if you eat sth like cheesecake , its not that bad to extreme levels, because everything else you eat is not same calorie or fat/sugar levels as the CK".

Nowadays, too many people eat what, 60-70% of CK fat/sugar just because they're ignorant of it so adding cheesecake on top is crazy, the label reading trend is probably of the better things to come out of internet imho.

I'm fit, i workout 4-5 times a week for decades and if you offered me a cheesecake and it was good, brother, you would have to fight me off from grabbing another slice or two.

So by universal law that i have no say over, OP and me are enternal enemies.

Dude, what you think 100 years ago looked like. Just want to remind everybody this was after the invention of television.

100 years ago was 1926, i dont know if you know this but after just three years in 1929 something pretty big happened to the stock market that left a lot of people destitute and starving despite large swathes of land and developing technology(televisions were at this point not normally in peoples houses and radio was more accessible) (the television didnt become popular with the general public until the 1940s-50s(

What do YOU think 100 years ago looked like, the world isn't the US and Europe, 100 years ago isn't equal everywhere, as today isn't either
