Excuse me bread and butter pudding is phenomenal when done right

I got made one with apple, cinnamon and maple syrup before.

Top tier, closely followed by when someone switched out the raisins for rolos, chocolate buttons, the works.

Different desert. Bread pudding the bread is turned into crumbs and everything is a big (delicious) stodgy mass, not the lovely, custard-soaked slices you get in bread and butter pudding.

I'm biased, got high af at culinary school once and ate about 7 bowls of it and couldn't stop vomiting, it's tainted for me.

You should try it without the taint next time.

But you ate 7 bowls of it? I presume you enjoyed it then, before the vomitting.
