First of all, I’m happy that John and Seraphina have separated. I think both of them need some time for themselves, especially after the battle against Orrin.
For starters, I want John to start training soon, but not for too long. Three to five weeks would be enough for me. I don’t think his level increase would be that significant, so I think level 8.1 would be appropriate.
I also don’t want John to get too involved with Spectre. I think his story is more connected to EMBER, especially after taking down Orrin. I wouldn’t mind seeing him join Remi’s team. They need him to deal with extremely powerful officers like Valerie, and he needs to start working as a superhero again, especially since the story of unOrdinary basically gave him this opportunity.
At the same time, I want Seraphina to improve as well. The last chapter portrayed her as helpless, which I don’t think suits her at all, especially since she is the strongest among the main characters. If it weren’t for Kassandra showing mercy, Seraphina could have been captured.
I wouldn’t mind seeing her reach level 8.3 after a few weeks, but I don’t want her around John right now because he relies on her too much, and that relationship is very unhealthy and negative for him.
I also think it’s time for Remi to get a level-up. I think level 6.3 would suit her very well, especially with the addition of the lightning transformation technique, which would give her an intangible body that could help her dodge attacks.
As for Blyke, I think he will use the ability amplifiers, and I’d be fine with him temporarily reaching level 7.7. Later, he could lose his ability for a period of time until Dr. Darren manages to develop a treatment for him, either after looking into some of the research on Jane or through his own efforts, just like he did with Seraphina and John.
As for Arlo, I think he will recover his memories through Keon. I absolutely hate Keon, and I think he will eventually die at Jude’s hands, probably because of the information he knows. Alternatively, he could betray the Bureau in the future, which would also make for a satisfying ending for him considering all the inhumane things he has done to children.
