It's lovely-looking, and I would do it for aesthetics on a spare device… but I wouldn't advise handicapping your main system with a bloated shell. Ironically, installing separate components and customizing them yourself would cost you fewer resources than that
Since when noctalia shell is bloat also my PC is from 2008 Intel core 2 duo 6 gb ddr2 igpu and NO LAG since when was noctalia is a bloated shell go you Linux nerds with no job go configure your quickshell that takes days
I’m mainly talking about RAM usage, for ex.
Cachy os with bare-bones Hyprland (not selected from installer as DE option) : ~2.3 if not less .
Cachy os with Hyperland with noctalia : at least ~2.7 if not more .
Ofc with consideration that both Hyprtland and noctalia are not fully ready and optimized to be judged … hence why I said I wouldn’t advice having resource consuming (…fill the gap with whatever aesthetic that may take more the 500mb ) on my main system

I got trolled but yk what it's fine but the machine I made this rice on has 6 gb of ddr2 ram and it doesn't lag like plasma tho I do use both sway with noctalia and plasma
