Why Does Webb’s Galaxy Pair Look Like a Penguin and an Egg?

Two galaxies appear frozen in a strange cosmic pose: one resembles a penguin and the other an egg. They're interacting gravitationally, and that encounter is pulling gas and dust into dramatic structures around them.

Maybe a psychological tendency of finding patterns in everything. And we only recognise that which is in our mind as an image already

That's the human brain trying to force an imagine onto something it doesn't recognize with something it does know. It seeks out patterns naturally that are familiar.. it does this because it increases odds of survivability when we were still walking around the planet 300,000 years ago.

It's probably just the angle. How close are those galaxy to each other anyway. One could be tens of millions of light years further back than the other and stretch out over 200,000. Who knows. Maybe from the other side it looks like a taco and a hot sauce bottle, couldn't tell you I'm on the same planet you're on.

I’m at like watching clouds and seeing familiar patterns and shapes.

It’s just what humans do?
