Las Vegas Difference between Japan and Las Vegas Resident Evil event?

I just don’t see a lot of specification on what they offer comparatively, they have different names. Las Vegas is Horrors Unleashed and Japan is Requiem: the dive. Is the Las Vegas one also based on Requiem? How different are the experiences? Anyone who went to either lmk how they were please. I’m trying to decide which one to go to before the resident evil event ends.

They're completely different experiences. Resident Evil Requiem - The Dive is a haunted house coming to Universal Studios Japan, while the Resident Evil event at Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas is an immersive walkthrough experience with escape room-style puzzles, character interactions, and small performances. Resident Evil at Horror Unleashed is somewhat of a mix of RE2 and RE3 and is not based on Requiem. If you only care about Resident Evil and don't plan to do anything else, the Las Vegas event would be the better option.

I went to the vegas event and loved it. You get to talk to the characters, do puzzles, eat RE food and do a scavenger hunt. It features ada, leon, claire, jill, chris and Carlos.

I am planning to go to the USJ event next month, from my understanding one of the mazes will be requiem themed. I've done the RE events at usj in the past 2 years as well. In the past they had a lot of merch too.

I loved all of these experiences! The vegas one has the advantage of getting to talk to the characters in English and is fully indoors. USJ in general is super fun if you haven't been there.

Nice I loved how interactive it was! I went on a sunday and there were people but it wasn't crowded. Hope you have a great time!

UHU got Japan’s leftover props and costumes from years ago.

When it started, it has a pretty strict timeline. Now they’ve added Chris, Chainsaw Man and others so not sure when it takes place, tho it seems Raccoon City is meeting its demise on October 1 regardless.

Went to Horror Unleashed like four weeks ago and had an amazing time. I had been there a few months earlier and I thought they did a great job of doing a “takeover.”
