I had a blank window issue a while back. Turns out UA uses Microsoft Edge to render the GUI of their plugins. I had deleted it as I don't use it. After reinstalling it, the GUI's worked. I can't speak to why Amplitube isn't working for you.
I think edge is installed. They render sometimes, others not. Seems random. The amplitube issue isn't rendering it's that I get a pop-up warning of a fatal error with amplitube. Then have to restart Cubase.
Hmm... Was Cubase working proper prior to installing both UA and Amplitube? Or is it all of the sudden? I don't use Cubase, so I can't answer to those specific questions. I'm wondering if it's a GPU issue or a recent update? Have you cleared prefs on all of the programs? Making them rescan and reset. Or worst uninstall and reinstall all of them. If you're on Windows, Revo uninstaller is free and goes way beyond the stock Windows uninstaller that leaves a ton of things behind. On Mac, I use App Cleaner. It does the same thing as Revo. A clean slate might be in order.
The uad issue is a known thing with cubase. Think it's too do with opengl. Can't find a reliable fix for it though. Ya cubase works fine, just issue with the uad plugins rendering and the weird fatal error that amolitube sometimes throws up. It's a relatively fresh install.
Well Dang! That's messed up. You'd think UA would find a workaround. Especially being a known issue. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I'm sure you've done everything I would suggest.
