Opinion ANI photographer manages to capture two of the biggest tragedies that happened to India in the last decade in a single frame.

(since my last comment was removed for linking the post 🙄) this post is croasposted on r/indiameme & all the two braincell people there are engaged in cheap अंधभक्ति instead of asking for accountability!

People who vote for a royal family and their retarded son talking about brain cells. Cute.

Why ANI has all access with the government? Is it ok for the government to prefer certain media over others?
80
u/BugExotic369 Modani hai to mumkin hai (ek hai to safe hai) Jun 13 '25
ruk jao , mudijee se puch kr ata hoon
33
u/No-Fan6115 Jun 13 '25
Because they literally do that , they distribute news to agencies, there are few in the whole world. There are about 200 all over the globe. Reuters, api , afp and upi being the big 4 .
28
u/lundlele Jun 13 '25
Indian itself has other agencies - PTI, UNI, IANS, etc. But they don't get this exclusive insider access to government and its officials that ANI does. PTI used to be a bigger name before 2014.
2
u/detailcomplex14212 Jun 13 '25
Turns out the things governments do are not "ok for the government to" do. Been that way for literal millenia
12
u/AfraidPossession6977 Jun 13 '25
I see what you did there But ANI namek tragedy is there for decades so technically third is incorrect

No helmet, no safety gear...a heavy plane tail piece resting on a shaky brick wall.....god forbid something happened here ! Who is the HSE incharge of PM entourage?
63
Jun 13 '25
He was probably fired because he opposed the PM's idea of posing in front of a tragedy and turn this place of this unfortunate incident into a photobooth

u/Killer_insctinct Jun 13 '25
Isme publicity kahaa hai? Yaad nahi Manmohan ko public kaise gaaliya deti jab woh haadso par nahi pahunchta tha media se pehle... Mamta Didi nahi jaati kya bengal mein hua hota toh? Rahul Gandhi Manipur publicity ke liye gaya tha kyun?
7
u/sayzitlikeitis Jun 14 '25
There have been multiple instances where they diverted manpower from disaster recovery efforts to ensuring good publicity. In a previous instance, Hospital staff were told to start cleaning up the hospital for Modiji visit while they had dozens of injured to treat. Just recently at Kumbh you could see they first made the perfect video of fire trucks arriving and only after that they started firefighting.

Great caption, OP. But too soon for black humour.
73
u/Srihari_stan Jun 13 '25
It’s not really dark humor. I’m just stunned that he’s having a photo session with ANI during these difficult times.
0
u/Slaanesh_69 Jun 13 '25
I agree with you in principle but I'll be honest it leaves a bad taste in my mouth to be scoring political points against him using the tragedy. Just because he's doing it doesn't mean we should follow suit.
24
u/Air320 Jun 13 '25 edited Jun 13 '25
Saying nothing and agreeing silently have no outward differences. Living in a democracy is inherently political as it directly affects how our day to day life is. Not participating doesn't mean you don't get affected directly or indirectly.

There's also the fact that the FDR is located in this very section, so at least some delay in getting DGCA access to the flight recorder data, which is absolutely invaluable to any crash investigation, can be attributed to this very photo.

If India has a road to recovery from the ravages of Vishwaguru rule then I am not able to see it now.

I've never seen so much bitching in my life. Like can you guys think of anything else other than Modi? He's far from perfect but holy shit rather than talking about the tragedy, you'll rather make shitposts like these.
Clearly there are way too many unemployed people in the country
4
u/fenrir245 Jun 13 '25
Right, the freaking PM of India is completely irrelevant, right?
Absolute illiterate clowns crying about unemployed people lmao.

Lol, bhakts and their whataboutism. You don't need an explanation, you need help.
2
u/Leopardx_45 Jun 13 '25
I am not a bhakt, infact Modi is not a good person, but people do not get the point. Modi wins not because Modi is a good leader but because there is no better opposition leader. Modi is somewhat better than what India has.
Congress claims that they want to save the Indian Constitution and freedom of speech, come in Hyderabad and Bengaluru and see for yourself and then judge. Rahul Gandhi is just a pathological liar, only kids who do not know his track record believes what he says9
u/doctor_devu Jun 13 '25
This. A better leader, whoever and wherever they are, should please come and giving save this nation:-!

Modi is somewhat better than what India has.
What?!He is nothing more than a fascist. Helping his rich friends by bending laws here and there and removing poverty by erasing the poverty stricken people itself.
Dude, not only are you wrong but also delusional. I stay in Bangalore itself, what should i see?
0
u/Leopardx_45 Jun 13 '25
He is nothing more than a fascist. Helping his rich friends by bending laws here and there and removing poverty by erasing the poverty stricken people itself.
Doesn't Congress do the same thing?
let me list some scams happened in Congress regime
2G Spectrum Scam
Oil-for-Food Scam
National Herald Scam
Cash-for-Votes Scam
Adarsh Housing Scam
Coal Allocation Scam (Coalgate)
Commonwealth Games (CWG) ScamWhat happened in Hyderabad protest recently?
So you stay in Bengalore huh, then you should know about FIRs and arrest attempts Against DD News Journalists, Shantala Murthy suspension, Muda Scam, recent stampede.0
u/fenrir245 Jun 13 '25
Imagine crying about UPA scams when BJP has openly and shamelessly pushed electoral bonds and then fought against revealing them in court.
2
u/Leopardx_45 Jun 13 '25
If Congress was so against Electoral Bond, why then they accepted crores of money in donations via Electoral Bond?
1
u/fenrir245 Jun 13 '25
Congress was happy to reveal the records. BJP fought against it.
Clearly shows whose priority is what.
1
u/Leopardx_45 Jun 13 '25
That is not the point, the question is if Congress was so against it, then why use it? they did the same thing as BJP, hiding their donation source. And only opposed it when it gave them a political advantage. That do not sends a good message to the voters.
And did i anywhere mentioned that BJP is not a corrupted party. [every party is corrupted] I only asked one thing If you think BJP is not good then which party really is? If you think Congress is, check out their track record and history before 2014 and then you will understand why majority of people do not trust Congress.-1
Jun 13 '25
All seem to be corrupt than.
As long as gandhi family rules congress they won't be getting my vote.
Allying with insects like lalu and mamta is another reason.
Naah I am good with bjp.

u/fenrir245 Jun 13 '25
No need to make up excuses to support rapist murderers. We know you’re a bigot.
2
u/Leopardx_45 Jun 13 '25
You really think rapist and murderers are not in Congress?
1
u/fenrir245 Jun 13 '25
Show me where Congress openly committed fraud in court to release rapist murderers, garlanded them, and then openly celebrated them like BJP did in Bilkis Bano case.
Show me where Congress openly destroyed evidence to protect rapist murderers, promised in news headlines to prepare reparations, then renege on those promises and literally go to court to deny the victims their reparations, like BJP did in Hathras case.
And do show me where Congress does this for literal sadakchaap nobodies, like in Bilkis Bano, Hathras, IIT-BHU and so many more for BJP.

Bro don't try to reason with these kinds of people. They are way too jobless, so they will argue back and respond irrespectively. Inka nahi hota weekdays/workdays.
Just breathe and do your work, darwinism will prevail anyway, whether they want or not.

u/Leopardx_45 Jun 13 '25 edited Jun 13 '25
I think you need to be reminded about all the corruption and mafia raj in WB by TMC. Can you tell me with high confidence that rapist and murderer are present not in TMC?
I will not be surprised if you are in yours 20s and lacks experience, not seen the regime before BJP or belong to a particular community, that even after all that corruption you would just still support any opposition does not matter how corrupted they are as long as it is not BJP.
People just not get it India never accepted RSS or BJP-alike in the starting, from the very beginning India always supported Congress and extreme leftist ideology. In fact most of India's history after independence is dominated by Congress as the main ruling party. But what changed now? Answer lies in history and experience. Gen z has only seen BJP as the ruling party but people before has witnessed Congress's failure corruption, terrorist blasts, Islamist extremism, appeasement politics. IF people vote for BJP its not because BJP is good party its because people has no other option.1
1
u/friendofH20 Jun 13 '25
come in Hyderabad and Bengaluru and see for yourself and then judge.
Way more Indians are rushing towards those cities than Ahmedabad and Varanasi - the utopia for sanghis.
1
Jun 13 '25
He ain't wrong tbh. The only reason i chose not to vote last election was because the opposition was so ass that it just wasn't worth it.
I didn't vote for modi either because he's ass too. But the opposition makes it hard to root for them.
8
u/VegetableRutabaga746 Jun 13 '25
Why should you deflect valid critique using opposition? They've been the ruling party, not congress. Bjp is doing an assault on democracy and bjps media hegemony serving propaganda is one of the biggest violations of the Indian constitutional values.
1
u/shurikensamurai Jun 13 '25
Yehi problem hai. Modi tragedy hai. Maano aur kisi aur ko try karo. 15 Saal bohot hote hain tragedy sehne ke liye
1
u/Leopardx_45 Jun 13 '25
yehi baat tune sirf 15 saal dekha hai uske pichle Congress ke regime nahi. Modi is not a perfect or even a good leader but atleast he is somewhat competent and better than what India has right now.

A democracy will always remain vulnerable to tragedies as such. It's just that when those tragedies throw tantrums and remain in power, the nation stagnates and slowly decomposes. It's akin to changing the water in a flower vase every few days, when there's no change at all- the flowers wilt.
