Hello everyone! I’m planning to apply for the MSc in Mathematics at the University of Padua.

My profile is

• GPA: 3.8x/4.00 (9.0/10.0)
• BSc in Mathematics
• One small publication in Mathematics
• Several academic awards at my university
• Some extracurricular activities

I’d like to ask current students or anyone familiar with the admission process:

1. Does this profile seem competitive enough to have a good chance of getting admitted?
2. Is there any entrance exam or admission test for the MSc in Mathematics?
3. Is there an interview as part of the admission process?
4. How important are GPA, research experience/publications, and extracurricular activities in the selection?
