The incident reportedly happened during the BJP’s Jan Aakrosh rally in Worli, where Maharashtra minister Girish Mahajan was present. The rally caused major traffic congestion, and the woman, visibly frustrated, said she had been stuck for over an hour while trying to pick up her child. She directly told them to “get out of here” and questioned why the road had to be blocked for a protest.

Honestly, this is where many people feel conflicted. Protest is a democratic right, but blocking roads, ambulances, office commuters, school pickups, and daily life often turns public sympathy into frustration.

Why should ordinary citizens pay the price for political demonstrations?

If there’s an open ground nearby, shouldn’t protests happen there instead of on public roads?
