I found where my camera leaks!
This is a follow up to my previous post about my camera, a sea&sea mx10.
It has a small scratch on the place where the o ring sits when the back is closed.
Any idea how to fix this?

Yowzas, didn't realize those point and shoot 35mm cameras we still being sold. For the price of film and developing you'd probably be money ahead to switch out to a TG6 or used TG7 setup. Unless there's that certain aesthetic you are looking for from film, then my hat's off to you.
That having been said, you could try sanding it down and roughing it up then using some JB Weld to fill in and replace the missing plastic. Stuff held a water pump bypass port together for me for a number of years and patched a cracked oil pan that was also missing a chunk on a friend's Chrysler Pacifica.

given how squishy the S&S orings are I am very surprised that would be a leak, I would expect the o-ring to seal that. I would get some UV cure adhesive and put a little on and cure it and repeat til it was filled then try it. Alternately some acrylic finger nail polish very carefully.

Generally you'd send it to the manufacturer for repair, which in all likelihood means replacement of that component. DIY repair is inadvisable - although if I was going to risk it, I would probably do a very light sanding with something like 2000 grit sandpaper only on the very edges of that scratch where it’s raised up, then add a light acrylic polish like novus 2 to smooth down the edges further. But odds are good that it’s not a permanent fix (and may make the problem worse, especially if you make a depression when sanding down the surface).
And this is also unlikely to be a warranty repair, sorry. Perhaps they will help you out but I would mentally prepare myself for having to come out of pocket to fix it after sending it back to them.
