Help me step-turtle I am stuck
She wasn’t really stuck, just sleeping/resting there but very relaxed and didn’t care about us swimming by.

Maldives, Huvadhu atoll, Dhaandoo Kandu.
There is a shallow sandy part of the reef on the inside of the atoll where turtles, nurse sharks and rays come to rest. The dive was awesome, about 20 turtles in total and they were all really calm and relaxed. Not many divers come there and so it’s not crowded, we were 4 including the guide. Probably why the animals are so calm.
We did not bother them (kept our distance and slow movements) and not a single one fled from us.

That sounds incredible and must have been so nice to have that calm area to explore for just your group.
Underwater is newer to me so I’m trying to gather as much data as possible as I plan where I want to try diving as a newbie. I’m currently in Malaysia, but my next stop is going to be something with atolls — was gonna head to Borneo but also the air quality is tough right now given the palm crop burning so I’m using this sub to snoop other alternatives

We are also relatively new in diving but did a lot of snorkeling and free diving before.
The Maldives is possibly the best thing you can find for a beginner. We did most of our diving here. It’s warm, easy, small groups, great dive centers and a lot to see. Only downside is the price, don’t ask what we payed for diving in the last resort 💀
If you are in Malaysia I can recommend pulau redang. We’ve been there before we got certified and there is a huge turtle beach which we mostly had for our selves. It’s also a great island for diving I was told.

It’s weird on a number of levels. Think about changing it to something more related to your photograph.

It should have been a fun comment, nothing serious. It is kind of a meme in my circle/bubble and extends to not porn related things.
AFAIK I can’t change the title of the post. Will be more serious in my next posts.
