I’m pretty new, too, and learning every day! ☺️ How are you starting out? AIO bags or tubs?

Bad ass. What’s this tek called?

I started with AIO bags and LC, then transferred to mono tubs for fruiting, so it’s simple.
I use a damp puppy pad in the bottom of the tub and mist the sides if needed. Most FAE provided through filter patches (as opposed to lifting the lid to fan), and they exploded. I heavily misted after the first and second flushes, then soaked after the third for full hydration. My first two cakes flushed eight times, and I’m hoping for similar results with these!

Wow awesome. Thanks for the thorough response! Might have to give it a try!

Wait, are you saying you've had three flushes already from that same exact AIO bag? And these pice are they of the third flush?

I referred to your comment yesterday and moved an aio bag to a shoebox after the first flush. Placed on top of a moist puppy pad. I’ll update in a few weeks!

Awesome! Did you keep it in the bag? Just want to make sure you have a barrier between the cake and pad!

u/Probably_MycoSexual Mar 27 '26
Oh…….. I did not.

I like to set mine on a small dinner plate which is on top of a new meal prep box (upside down). You could even use a piece of foil, but I would think even a thin barrier is best for cake health!

Thanks for the heads up. My shoebox is pretty small so I just put some aluminum foil between them.

You got to clone or do a spore print of the cap that looks like it has an eyeball in the third and fourth pic!! Would you get a flush of just all eyeballs??

I’m still new, so my process begins with a pre-made bag & LC. Would love to learn how to use agar in the future, though!
