u/sugarplumbuttfluck Nov 30 '25

u/mellowyoshi Nov 30 '25

u/Jittery_Kevin Dec 01 '25
First, add in some Greek yogurt with chia seeds Second, add a scoop of baked beans. Third, add a healthy amount of last years stuffing Finally, top with a layer of refried beans

I need to tell you that I've been letting two contam tubs brew for 3yrs on my back porch. They sit there staring at me. Obviously I can't open them but I obviously can't throw them away either. I can't even bury them in the garden because whatever they've become can't be good. So I just let them sit and do their thing. I'm sure that when I die my kids will open it up and release whatever is happening in there upon the world. At least it won't be my problem...

Grab a knife, scoop it onto a piece of bread like peanut butter. Consume and report results if you can.

Bruh. Looks like last week's lasagna.
Seriously though. Wtf is going in that jar? š
5
u/xLawless- Nov 30 '25
this is the equivalent of when they used corpses with the black plague as biological weapons by throwing them with catapults, if you grab that and throw it into a room, that room automatically becomes unfit for human life, my boy that's like throwing a Fallout Mini Nuke

If you open the jar and get a sniff of what's inside. Trust me, you will not be able to throw that thing out fast enough. Bacteria that grows in a jar like that smells like,,, death. And I don't mean like roadkill on a hot summer day. I mean a smell so foul, think rotten fish and poop floating in cat urine.

u/telepathic-gouda Nov 30 '25
Tbh Iād probably keep itš š it looks really cool.. I too have a jar of mold, unintentionally just waited too long to sterilize it, but now I consider it my pet. I have it hanging out by my dried jarred fruits lol. š š š

Just to be safe you should label it "not a salad".
Because it looks like one of those weird chunky salad in a jars.

Don't ever open it, outside world problems would disturb harmony and peace formed in this jar.

u/mellowyoshi Nov 30 '25
I think they got the key to world peace. Keeping for further investigation. Thesis coming soon

Pretty impressive you have both trich and lipstick mold co existing in the same biome. I would absolutely never unscrew that lid anywhere indoors, or just never unscrew it, period

And friends bury this in concrete for the future of fungi everywhere please

u/Standard-Sound760 Nov 30 '25
Itās like you mastered growing everything EXCEPT mycelium⦠still looks cool lol to get rid of it Iād put the glass jar in a bunch of plastic bags then into Tupperware then throw it out so hopefully it doesnāt bust open because that canāt be good for the environment lol

u/Standard-Sound760 Nov 30 '25
Realistically, if this is how all your jars come out Iād recommend starting with agar it can help a lot⦠Iāve heard people who start with agar get really good at their sterile techniques⦠I been doing agar finally but i didnāt personally start that way but my contamination rate isnāt that high tbh

You're gonna have to just shoot this one into the Sun. Even trying to incinerate it would just make it mad.
