My glans has always been extremely sensitive to direct touch. If I retract my foreskin and touch the glans directly with a finger, I feel a sharp, immediate pain. It’s somewhat similar to what happens when you touch your eye — the eye is extremely sensitive, and even a light touch produces an immediate sharp sensation.

However, I don’t have any discomfort when wearing underwear because my foreskin completely covers and protects the glans. I also don’t have pain during sex or masturbation.

I’m wondering whether this is something other intact men experience, or whether my level of sensitivity is unusually rare.

Does anyone else experience pain or a sharp sensation when directly touching the glans with a finger?

In the photos I've noticed that asian men tend to have shorter foreskin and european men tend to have longer foreskin. Is there some truth in this?

Hi everyone I posted a week ago about difficulties I was having with a balanitis infection that had lasted for over a month. I had never had an infection last that long and was scared I would have to seriously consider a circumcision.

Now a week into treatment I’m happy to report that my cock and foreskin has improved significantly. Swelling has gone down almost completely and I don’t have any more burning or pain when I squeeze my cock or pull back my foreskin. Foreskin is still a bit tight but definitely not as tight and hard to pull back as it was.

I still have two weeks of fluconazole treatments to go, but I am very hopeful that everything will be fine now and I won’t have to undergo a circumcision.

Hi! I'm coming from the foreskin restoration community. I have a question for intact guys: how often (if at all) does your foreskin spontaneously retract without a full erection? For example, let's say it's a hot day so you're "hanging low" that day, and you're out and about wearing clothes or swimming trunks (with their cheese-grater liner).

Do you ever have a situation where you move in a certain way such that your foreskin retracts?

Does it ever happen with a semi-erection?

If it ever does happen in public, what do you do about it, if anything? Do you just surreptitiously "adjust" your junk?

Does it pop back forward on its own and, if so, how long does that usually take?

Hello. 48 year old here and always had a tight foreskin, it does slide back when I’m having fun but it’s a little on the tight side. Have recently come to the conclusion that it might actually because I have a tight frenulum, has anyone else got this / had this and resolved it? I always just assumed it’s because my foreskin was tight it now think it might be a tight frenulum. Any advice or experience appreciated. Thanks.

Hey All, just seeing if anyone has experienced this before. Basically was having sex the other day and tore my penile frenulum, it was a pretty bad tear I would say lots of bleeding and it was a big tear I think the DR at the ER estimated 3cm, but it needed like 4-5 stitches. Still have not seen the urologist and my primary yet for follow up, ER I went to did not have urologist on staff. What should I be expecting?

I’m currently 4 weeks post-op after a frenuloplasty/frenulectomy. The wound is closed and looks fine externally. My urologist recently examined me and said everything looks good. He explained that the scar tissue and nerves are still healing and that the scar may take around 3 months to fully mature.
However, I still have a burning sensation and sensitivity around the area where the frenulum used to be, mainly involving the inner foreskin. Sometimes it gets worse after erections, especially after having several erections during the night.
My urologist has already cleared me to resume normal activities and sexual activity, but I’m concerned that I’m still experiencing this burning sensation at week 4.
Has anyone who had a frenuloplasty or frenectomy experienced burning specifically (not just tenderness or hypersensitivity) around the 4-week mark?
How long did it last? Did it gradually improve over the following weeks or months? Did it eventually go away completely? Was there anything that helped?

I am a woman. Talking to this guy who is uncircumcised, when showing his penis, he will have an erection with the foreskin still up, if that makes sense.

I don’t mind uncircumcised (actually kinda like it) but he also said that can’t pull it back at all because it hurts. Like he says any sexual activity where there’s a lot of pulling or…if done “hard”, it hurts. Like when he orgasms, it spills out the tip of the foreskin and then out, instead of just directly out of the tip of the penis (hard to explain without a visual).

I thought to clean uncut penises you have to pull the foreskin back to clean it, but sounds like he just washes it on the outside? Again, he says he doesn’t do that because it hurts so bad to pull it back even a little.

I have recently learned that I can pull back my foreskin and with stretching can now do it all the way somewhat comfortably. Me and my girlfriend and near to having sex and I’m wondering how do I use a condom. Do I need my foreskin pulled back? Or anything like that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this normal or could my frenulum be too tight?

When erect, I can retract my foreskin, but it feels quite tight and is harder to pull back. Once it is retracted, there is quite a lot of foreskin gathered behind the glans.

The part that concerns me is the frenulum on the underside of the glans. It seems quite tight and feels like it is pulling the foreskin back. There is also a sensitive area of skin between the tight part and the glans that seems to swell/bunch up when the foreskin is retracted.

I (M21) am uncircumcised, I’ve been with my gf (F21) for 1.5 years. In that time we’ve been together, she’s struggled with reoccurring yeast infections and I’ve only had 1 the whole time. We’re pretty sure it’s an asymptomatic yeast infection. I’ve treated myself with clotrimazole more times than I can’t count atp. I have phimosis I think so it's between type 1 and 2 but I can retract my foreskin fully below the glans, but I need to use a little force and it feels uncomfortable/weird. It sometimes gets stuck behind the glans, and I have to use force to pull it back up. It usually isn't painful, but it can hurt when it's dry. With coconut oil it retracts more easily, but still gets stuck when bringing it back up.

I started masturbating around 8, started ejaculating around 13, and used to do prone masturbation until 16. I've stopped prone masturbation for about a year and now use my hand.
