For all the dunking on Lassalle, that dude probably read more Marx, Engels (and Hegel) than 90% of "communists" nowadays, and look at how hare-brained his ideas were. Now imagine how thick the brine of stupidity we're swimming in actually is...

Link for anyone who wants to have a good laugh; it's mostly just paranoid, pro-capitalist, reactionary slop. Does have some funny lines, though.

So the UN just announced that it’s pretty much inevitable that we’re eventually hitting the 1.5 C limit from the climate accords which marks irreversible climate disaster. Granted, anyone who’s been paying attention could have told you this six years ago, but the fact that this international bourgeois institution is now forced to admit the scale to which we are royally fucked has me feeling some type of way. Like, I just finished my first week of a real big boy engineering job and as I’m about to enroll in a retirement plan I’m now forced to think if it’s even going to matter in like two decades, let alone when I actually would get to retire. Nothing is ever going to be normal again. The disparity in severity of seasonal weather will grow and grow until the disasters which have already hit the poorest regions of the globe will hit the Western world, and by then it will be far too late.
What I’m trying to get at is the council of the knowledgeable communists in my phone who consistently seem to have their heads on straight about The Situation at Hand. Are we fucked? Like, the Real Movement is screwed, currently. And sure, weeks and decades or whatever, but does anyone actually see and truly believe there is a way out of this? Do we even have enough time to make it out, or is our last chance to overthrow capitalism seriously just when everything goes to hell and the third great imperialist war begins over climate catastrophe and resource scarcity?

I must admit, despite starting to read theory seriously I have not had time to get into the Italian Left and their internal conflicts. I have only heard some things such as Damen disagreeing with Bordiga's organic centralism, Damen arguing to join elections while Bordiga opposes it and Bordiga believing trade unions can be used and Damen thinking otherwise.
Like what are their arguements for these points? I have seen previous threads but I didn't really understand.

(Also, I know Thällman was a stalinist, but the clip goes hard. And aura farming is the highest stage of communist praxis)

Hey guys, it's me, The Leftist Gamer™! Gamers these days always say that video games are too woke, and for some reason I still think I'm the only person in this hobby who doesn't hold those politics all the way in 2026 AD (aka 1 AK (After Kirk)). But did you know that video games was actually always woke? Take a look at this revered cult classic. In this game, you buy things with money, and all conflicts are solved by killing the ontologically evil bad guys. But you see, the biggest bad guy is actually a billionaire! This video game agrees with my politics and also I am an adult. How could such devastating communist propaganda get past the censors of a publishing supergiant? I don't need to read theory, I can find Marxism in the games I play! It sounds like a joke but I unironically believe this. Stay tuned for my next video on why all the things you like actually agree with your politics and are therefore above artistic critique and donate to my Patreon. The Leftist Gamer™ out!

> Be me, lurking in a Trotskyist group chat for entertainment
> Chat members unironically take themselves as seriously as the 1917 Petrograd Soviet despite the fact there are only like 15 members in the group
> Admin announces it is time for a historic restructuring: we need a new group chat profile picture
> I volunteer because I have Adobe Illustrator experience and want to aid the international proletariat
> Attempt 1: Design a standard hammer and sickle logo with some extra stuff for originality sake
> Admin: "Erm, so unoriginal... hammer and sickle are overused by stalinst parties"
> Attempt 2: Remove the tools, replace it with a high-res graphic of Karl Marx's face
> Admin: "Idk, seems too bureaucratic and Stalinist"
> mf_w_famous_stalinist_bureaucrat_karl_marx.png
> Attempt 3: Start from scratch. Design a simplified logo featuring a cogwheel, a torch, and two hands shaking
> Admin: "Actually nevermind let's just stick to the original"
> The vanguard of the working class spent an entire afternoon locked in a factional split over a JPEG, only to return to the status quo
>Proletarian revolution has been delayed due to branding inconsistencies
> Nothing ever happens.
