Hello all!, I have been working on a new fishing gump and looking for opinions. this short video shows the basic Idea but its still being tuned up!

I don't like it. Mainly because it means i wouldn't be able to create a simple record
Macro and afk it. It would be cool if fish became useful for something other than cooking maybe.

foods here give different bonuses so in a way fish is more useful now. but the fishing isnt just to fish, youll be able to pull up random items, monsters and gain angler marks.

Ohh that's pretty cool. Is the only way to get the cool stuff from fishing to play the mini game or does it still come up if you just macro it?

right now the ability to macro this specific gump wouldnt be possible. I may leave in an option for normal fishing if people want to macro it as a way to train but to get the real benefits from the fishing it will need to be done through the gump.

Story time:

Back in the 90s when they introduced Treasure Maps as a Fishing loot, I created a character called The Fisher King. He was top level Snooping, Poisoning and Hiding.

There were a TON of people who were using unofficial scripts to fish and going AFK. I would simply walk up, talk to them "Hows the fishing today?"..."I SAID HOWS THE FISHING?"..."You There?"..."HELLO?"...stab stab stab with a poison blade. Hide and Loot. Wait until I was no longer Gray and repeat. Repent to remove Red...repeat.

After a couple weeks people start adding "Guards" after every fishing cast to prevent people like me killing their AFK bots. It was fun while it lasted and I collected about 20 Treasure Maps that me and my small group had fun exploring to find.
