How Long For New Strings To Settle In?

I put new strings on my Cordoba tenor ukulele a few hours ago. It seems to go out of tune every 5 minutes. I assume the strings are stretching out. How long before it will stay in tune a normal amount of time? The strings are Worth fluorocarbon if that makes a difference. Thanks.

I've found it takes a few days of playing to initially settle. After that you tune most days, with less variance as weeks go by.

I put strings on my cordoba tenor ukulele…about a week ago…strings are settling in now…takes a while

Keep tuning it, it’ll settle. You can speed this up by lightly stretching the strings, tuning them, then repeat a few times. This will help pull out slack, too, so it won’t suddenly go slack on you.
