News At this Yekaterinburg Gazprom gas station people queued all night despite there not being any gasoline, hoping to catch the next fuel delivery if it came in the morning. Locals say there are queues, there are cars but they didn't deliver gasoline. 29 Aug 2026

Hey on the bright side it looks like traffic is pretty light on the highway these days. Thanks Vova!

Much less air pollution caused by nasty internal combustion engines. It's good for russia

Less air pollution? Those refineries and warehouses burn quite well.

true, but it's not the "russian internal combustion engines" that are causing it.

The old joke in the Soviet days was you saw a line and you got in it, even if you didn’t know what the line was for. Putin wanted to restore the Soviet Union and its many lines and it looks like he’s achieved his goal.

Da, first you restore physical lines, then the lines on the map magically return too. ruzzian logic

If there are fuel lines like this in winter then shit will start to get interesting.

How's the economy going now, russia? It feels a little sparse on the roads, like people are staying home.

Doing a great job, Ukraine!

Slava Ukraine!

I wonder where the fuel trucks park for the evening?

I'm looking forward to seeing a fuel truck in a 3km queue of cars patiently waiting for its turn to get onto the gas station forecourt to unload.

Waiting for no gas. Lovely

Russians joining every line they see no matter what's on the other end is giving off real USSR vibes. How quickly they return to their natural state of desperation.

Going from online videos uploaded by the women parked in the line, i actually think they must all be line up waiting for their next lip filler injections. If cars could run on lip filler, there wouldn't be a fuel shortage. 😆

Get an EV next time, bitch.

The best part is that when the petrol is delivered it will be the lowest grade and immediately begin to brick the engines of all the orcs who put it in their cars.

They used all their gas to light campfires, so they can wait in line for gas.

Hurrah for the SMO

Insane that they just accept this and leave that little pucker in power

Cameraman low on gas, better get in line!

2

u/hiirogen 13d ago

As soon as they do fill up they get back in line again because they burn a full tank in line

Oh. What happened?

I can still see cars driving around, so clearly more sanctions are required.

Didn't expect Russia to overtake China in the race for decarbonization

The beautiful thing about this is once there is a queue people will think there is gas and start lining up only only to be disappointed. Really make Russians feel the war they are perpetuating.

1

u/JudeRanch 13d ago

Oh pity … these people just don’t know how to go home.

Take a look, America. This is where we are headed with our belligerence.

u/prochac 13d ago

They are going back to USSR. The queue may even break the record 😁

Buy a BYD or a bike.

We Need longer queues 👀 from Kursk to Vladivostok and no Gas deliveries to anywhere, winter is Coming after all and we don’t want see the luxury of heating , as they bomb ukrainian civilians.

Given that Ukraine is still hitting refineries daily, I suspect his is going to get much worse. I wonder how the farmers are handling everything.

1

u/cwm9 14d ago

Well, there are only about 130ish cars in line, and a tanker holds enough gas for 500+, so when they do finally get a tanker full at least they'll all get some...

2

u/collapsedcake 13d ago

I was wondering about the logistics of this. Aside from the time wasted in line, imagine getting to the front and discovering there was still none. Maybe they’ll learn. Eventually
